SPORTS
From a young age I have always been drawn to sports and physical activity. I first started with skating in my apartment complex, then moved on to swimming, and eventually discovered tennis, which became my favorite sport and the one I excelled at most. In high school I broadened my experience by participating in inter-school football tournaments, inter-house volleyball, badminton, table tennis, cricket, and even throwball, which I particularly enjoyed. Being active in so many different sports has shaped me beyond just fitness—it has taught me discipline, teamwork, and resilience while giving me a sense of energy and balance in my daily life. Tennis remains the sport where I have achieved the most recognition, but every game I have played has contributed to my growth as both an athlete and a person.
TENNIS
I started playing tennis when I was six years old, and it has been a constant part of my life throughout school. Over the years I not only enjoyed playing but also found myself equally passionate about watching the sport and learning from it. Tennis became more than just a game—it kept me fit, gave me discipline, and often served as a way to cool down and reset. I competed in several AITA and UTR tournaments, where I experienced both wins and losses. Each match taught me something new, whether it was resilience in the face of defeat or the importance of focus during pressure moments. These experiences shaped my mindset, reminding me that progress comes with persistence and that setbacks are as valuable as victories. Tennis has been my anchor in sports, teaching me lessons that extend far beyond the court.
